Buan's Creative Dance ‘Go Seom Seom’ Receives Praise in Germany

The Jeonbuk Provincial Institute for Korean Traditional Performing Arts Dance Company was officially invited to perform their creative dance, 'Go Seom Seom', in Germany. On October 27th, they showcased the dance at the Berlin Staatsoper. This performance is a modern reinterpretation of the 'ddi baet nori', a traditional Korean cultural event from Buan's Wido Island, classified as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Despite being their debut overseas performance, the show was well-received, with all 1,300 seats at the opera house sold out.
