Seoul Museum of Art Hosts Yuseung A's Curated Exhibition 'MāyāMāyā'

The Seoul Museum of Art is showcasing the 'MāyāMāyā' exhibition curated by Yuseung A from June to October 2025. The exhibition is part of the 'Supporting Emerging Artists Program' and will be hosted at Arcade Seoul. Yuseung A explores the concept of 'feminine writing' through the works of four artists born in the 1990s. The exhibition title, 'Māyā' (Sanskrit for 'illusion'), is used to structure an exploration of powerful, momentary images that evoke a sense of reality. The exhibition includes new pieces by artists such as an 11-meter wall painting and multimedia collaborations. An associated event on August 9 will feature a screening and talk on 'feminine writing' with curator Yuseung A and film critic Kim Ye-sol-bi.
