Amorepacific, a leading South Korean beauty company, achieved significant financial success after three challenging years, primarily due to their acquisition of COSRX, a popular skincare brand. The company reported an operating profit increase of 64% in 2022, reaching 249.3 billion KRW. Amorepacific's global rebalancing efforts, focusing on markets like the Americas, resulted in overseas sales growth surpassing sales in China.
