The popularity of pre-ordering lunchboxes at convenience store GS25 is rising, especially among 'budget-conscious' individuals planning their meals, reflecting the current trend of high inflation prices. Pre-order sales of fresh food items like lunchboxes, kimbap, sandwiches, and more from the 'Our Neighborhood GS' app grew by 34.7% compared to the same period last year. Interestingly, the most popular lunchbox ordered is the 'Jeongsunggadeuk bibimbap', known for being vegetarian, low-calorie, and affordable. Women account for 55.4% of pre-order users, and most purchases are made between 7-11AM. People also buy additional items such as Pepsi, Shin Ramyun, and other snacks, showing a 76.7% higher average spend per customer than offline buyers. It's seen as a reflection of planned consumption before work.
