Pepero Price Hike: Lotte Wellfood Raises Prices Again

Lotte Wellfood has announced another price increase for its products, including the popular snack Pepero, just eight months after the last hike. Starting February 17, prices for 26 items will rise by an average of 9.5%. The price of Choco Pepero will now be 2000 KRW (approx. $1.68 USD). Lotte cites rising costs for raw materials like cocoa, labor, logistics, and energy as reasons for the increase. The Korean won's depreciation has also contributed to the cost pressures, particularly for imported raw materials.
