Kolmar Korea, a major ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) company specializing in cosmetics, has announced that its second factory in the US, located in Pennsylvania, has started operations. This new factory aims to make Kolmar Korea the largest hub for cosmetics manufacturing in North America, focusing on producing skincare and sun care products that are currently popular in the US market. With the addition of this new facility, and including their operations in Canada, Kolmar Korea plans to scale up their annual production to 470 million units across North America. The new factory boasts advanced manufacturing systems with AI technology and an 80% automated process, reducing production errors and enhancing efficiency. This expansion allows K-Beauty brands and global cosmetic companies to alleviate export tariff issues by benefiting from local production.
