The Horim Museum in Seoul is set to open its first special exhibition of 2025, 'Horim Myungbo', on January 11th at its new Sinsa branch. This exhibition will display 100 pieces, including 16 National Treasures and 59 Treasures designated by Korea. It is the first such exhibition since 2006 to feature both national and Seoul-designated cultural properties together, offering a unique opportunity to appreciate the beauty and identity of Korean art. The museum, a prominent private institution established based on the cultural heritage collected by Yoon Jang-seob, displays over 10,000 artifacts, from ceramics to Buddhist art. The exhibit runs until July 26, with cultural lectures planned to enhance understanding, making it an excellent resource for those interested in Korean art history.
