The Goseong Seopjuk Festival will take place on July 19th at Tanjin Beach in Gangwon Province, South Korea. This event is part of the small-scale community cooperation cultural project 'Goseong On Festa.' The festival highlights seopjuk, a traditional dish enjoyed in coastal areas for energy restoration during summer. Seopjuk is made by boiling shellfish and chicken together. The festival involves cooking competitions between neighboring villages, Tanjin-ri and Bongpo-ri, fostering community harmony. Visitors can also engage in activities like material collection and cooking experiences. Additional attractions include acoustic guitar performances and a silent DJ party, where participants use headphones to listen to music. The event aims to enhance intergenerational communication and village unity.
