Since 2015, Starbucks Korea has donated over 5500 tons of eco-friendly coffee compost to local farms. The compost is used to grow agricultural produce, some of which return as Starbucks products, like their popular sweet potato snack. Starbucks collaborates with local regions, reusing coffee grounds as sustainable compost, promoting resource circulation, and supporting local agriculture. Their efforts have led to the creation of renewable products, such as the Coffee Seed Tray, recognized as the first circular resource product in South Korea.
