Beat the Korean Heat with New Summer Fruit Desserts

Dessert cafes in Korea, Baekmidang and Paik's Coffee, have introduced new summer treats to beat the heat. Baekmidang's collection features desserts using Jeju Island's sweet apple mangoes and Korean watermelons. These include ice creams and slushies topped with coconut cubes. On the other hand, Paik's Coffee has launched drinks inspired by traditional Korean "bingsu" (shaved ice dessert), such as red bean milkshake and red bean strawberry shake, capturing the trend of enjoying bingsu in a cup. Both brands aim to offer refreshing experiences by emphasizing the natural taste of seasonal fruits.
