Cheongju Craft Biennale D-50: Artists Unveil Exhibition Plans

Cheongju and the Cheongju Craft Biennale Organizing Committee revealed the exhibition plans of two major participating artists, Mona Oren and Kosomi, at a press event in Seoul. Mona Oren, a French artist, is inspired by Korea's nature in July for her 'Lotus Leaf' themed wax works. Meanwhile, Korean artist Kosomi is working on a piece using the 'SOMISA' technique, which involves twisting traditional Hanji (Korean paper) into thread. The biennale will feature a total of 22 exhibitions, including special and related exhibitions, from September 4 to November 2, showcasing crafts from 140 artists across 16 countries.
