During the Seoul Fashion Week, Jungho Jeong, CEO of Lotte Department Store, stated plans to actively support the globalization of K-fashion. While acknowledging the international success of K-dramas, K-pop, K-beauty, and K-food, he noted that the fashion industry hasn't quite kept up. Jeong emphasized that fashion should be the next big global trend from Korea. Lotte Department Store aims to play a significant role in this by creating dedicated spaces for new Korean designer brands and transforming current stores to highlight K-fashion and lifestyle content, aspiring to make Seoul a fashion hub similar to Paris.
