Gangwon Tourism Foundation invited key figures from Japanese travel agencies for a promotional tour in Chuncheon, focusing on local culinary experiences such as 'Dakgalbi' (spicy stir-fried chicken) and 'Makguksu' (buckwheat noodles). The tour aimed to expand market opportunities for these regional dishes abroad. Notably, the popularity of Chuncheon Dakgalbi is growing in Japan. Besides food tastings, participants experienced local attractions like Samaksan Cable Car and Gangchon Rail Park. This initiative aligns with the Korea Tourism Organization's 'Korean Gourmet 30' project.
