Fresh Sea Urchin Delivered by K-Drone to Remote Islands

The Korean government is utilizing drones to deliver fresh seafood from Jeju Island's remote spots like Gapado and Biyangdo directly to consumers. Participating in the K-Drone Delivery initiative, local governments have expanded service to 166 areas including 44 islands. Unique to this project is the reverse delivery of seafood to stabilize island resident life. Additionally, a pilot program for medical supplies delivery is underway between military hospitals in Daejeon. This showcases Korea's innovative drone technology in logistics.
