The painting 'Jar' by Kim Whan-ki, a notable Korean artist, will be auctioned at K Auction with a starting price of 950 million Won (about $800,000 USD) on July 23rd. The piece showcases a blue color palette blending with the white of Joseon Dynasty porcelain, reflecting the artist's transitional style before his complete move to abstraction. The auction includes 104 works totaling around 8.7 billion Won ($7 million USD), featuring both Korean and international artists.
