Sejong City is opening water play facilities in both its new and old city areas starting next week. The Gobok Outdoor Swimming Pool and Urban Symbol Plaza water play area will open on the 19th, and the Sejong Lake Park Water Play Island will operate from the 25th. These facilities attract families and children every summer and are equipped with various attractions such as slides, air bounce zones, and temperature-maintaining pools. Visitors need to reserve in advance, and the facilities have a limited capacity of 500 people per session. Fees for the Gobok Pool vary by age, while the Sejong Lake Park play area is free for children under 13 with adult accompaniment required for those under 7. The Urban Symbol Plaza offers free access to its converted music fountain water play area. The facilities aim to help people beat the summer heat and have enjoyable experiences. The area will also host flea markets and food trucks on weekends.
