‘Changguk-Centric World Music Drama Festival’ to be Held in September

Korea's National Theater introduces two new festivals for its 2025-2026 season: the ‘Changguk-Centric World Music Drama Festival’ and the ‘2025 Korean Traditional Dance Festival.’ The season, running from August 2025 to June 2026, will feature 72 programs, including new works, repertoire, and collaborations. The Changguk Festival will spotlight traditional music dramas from Korea, China, and Japan, reinterpreting classic works like 'Simcheong'. Meanwhile, the Dance Festival will showcase the unique styles of regional dance troupes from across South Korea.
