Showcasing 'Gamja-jeon' in Macau: Gangneung Promotes Korean Cuisine

Gangneung City participated in a cooking session at Wynn Macau Academy, presenting 'Gamja-jeon' (Korean potato pancakes) to local youth. The event, part of the '2025 Macau World Gourmet Festival', aimed to foster cultural and culinary exchange between UNESCO creative cities. Thirty attendees, including students and teachers from Our Lady of Fatima Girls' School and Wynn Hotel staff, experienced a hands-on cooking class, learning about Gangneung's culinary traditions. Students actively engaged, showing great interest in Korean food and cooking methods during the Q&A session. Gangneung aims to further promote its culinary heritage globally through such exchanges.
