A special exhibition celebrating 60 years of Korea-Japan diplomatic relations showcases Japanese art at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul. Titled 'Japanese Art, Four Perspectives', the exhibition features 62 works including those designated as important cultural properties of Japan. It explores the concept of 'aware', a Japanese emotion appreciating the transient beauty of nature, through Edo period art, tea ceremony tools, kimonos, and Noh masks. Curated into four themes—decoration, restraint, momentary beauty, and play—the exhibition weaves together art and literature, offering a comprehensive view of Japanese culture.
