In London, England, a large-scale puppet parade called 'The Herds' took place, featuring life-sized animal puppets. These puppets, crafted from recycled cardboard, symbolize animals displaced by climate change, serving as 'climate refugees' to raise awareness about environmental issues. This project, which started in Kinshasa, DRC, and will travel to the Arctic, involves local artists and volunteers in each city, emphasizing the global impact of climate change. Similar artistic endeavors highlighting climate change have been gaining traction worldwide, including in Korea, where performances explore dystopian futures affected by rising sea levels and environmental calamities.
