Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi, the first overseas branch of Korea's theme park industry, surpassed 1 million visitors since opening in August 2023. The aquarium, located in Hanoi's Westlake area, is the largest in the area with a 2750-pyeong (approximately 9,083 square meters) space housing about 3,400 tons of tanks. Offering unique attractions like a main tank with 10,000 marine creatures and a 360-degree surround view tank, it is popular among families, adults, and couples. The venue's aesthetic appeal, notable marine life programs, and 'Korean-style' celebration packages have made it a 'must-visit' spot, while also focusing on marine conservation in partnership with Vietnam's Institute of Tropical Biology. Additionally, Lotte has launched a 'Kids Play Ground' in Hanoi, blending art and physical education.
