The Jirisan National Park Gyeongnam Office is hosting a special exhibition titled 'Bears of the Korean Peninsula' from June 14 to September 15 at the Hadong Hwagae Visitor Center. This exhibition explores the cultural and historical significance of bears in Korean history, from ancient totem beliefs to the Dangun myth and Joseon-era arts. It features digital artworks by artist Ko Sang-Woo, including a piece focused on the endangered crescent-moon bear. Visitors can participate in hands-on activities like bear-themed paper crafts and eco-bag decorating. Entry is free for all.
