Former Korean language teacher, Im Mu-chul, at the age of 77, has completed the 'Four-Character Idiom Dictionary', containing 8,070 entries across 3,044 pages. Known for his dedication, he spent 14 years compiling this resource as he believes these idioms encapsulate history, meaning, and wisdom. Despite the challenges and criticisms (such as the belief that such information is readily available online), Im focused on ensuring accuracy and deeper understanding. Overcoming physical pains, Im adhered to his principle of 'do a little every day'. The dictionary is a testament to perseverance and offers detailed explanations of each idiom. Im plans to continue with projects like a 'Four-Character Idiom Biographical Dictionary'.
