Expansion of Peak Climbing Certification to Geochang, Sancheong, and Hapcheon

The 'Or-go Hamyang' program, which rewards climbers for reaching the peaks of 15 mountains over 1,000 meters in Hamyang County, is expected to expand to include Geochang, Sancheong, and Hapcheon. Participants can earn gift certificates and medals based on the number of peaks completed. This initiative was discussed at the 5th Administrative Council of four western Gyeongnam counties, with enthusiastic support from local leaders. Details of the participation and specific peaks involved are yet to be determined.
