Exhibition Review: 'Summer Outing of Turtles' Unfolds Changes and Growth at a Slow Pace

An exhibition titled 'Second Summer Outing of Turtles' recently concluded at the Chuncheon Art Plaza Gallery, showcasing works by children with learning and emotional development challenges. Organized by the Hannamyeong Reading Therapy Institute, the event featured 40 pieces by 11 children with borderline intelligence and developmental disabilities. The artworks reflect personal growth and the children's unique methods of exploring the world at their own pace, providing visitors with insight into their courage and development. Guided by textile artist Jeon Seon-a, the exhibition highlighted the children’s progress and self-esteem growth, resulting in a deeply moving experience for the audience.
