The Seoul International Liquor Expo, the largest in Korea since 1992, welcomed over 60,000 guests and buyers this year. GangsoBaek, a popular Chinese baijiu (a type of strong distilled Chinese alcohol) brand, showcased its new flavors like peach, grape, and citron mixed with tonic water to create refreshing highballs. This innovation was well-received by the attendees. GangsoBaek, known for using sorghum from Chongqing, has been selling successfully in Korea since 2016 and has won over 210 awards globally. It plans to continue launching new products to cater to the MZ generation (MZ세대; a Korean term for millennials and Gen Z).
