Seoul's Mayor Oh Se-hoon met with the Italian National Fashion Chamber (CNMI) to propose closer collaboration between Seoul Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week. Oh highlighted the Korean fashion and beauty industry's growth, inspired by the Korean Wave, and aimed to create a "Milano Pavilion" for joint events. The proposal included showcasing Milan's top brands at Seoul Fashion Week. Furthermore, a pop-up event called "K-Vibe from Seoul" was set up in Milan, featuring Korean beauty and fashion brands to promote Seoul's trendy culture. The collaboration aims to boost the presence of K-beauty and K-fashion in Europe, with plans to further support international expansion for emerging Korean designers.
