Seoul Mayor Proposes Beauty and Fashion Partnership to Milan

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon met with Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan, to propose enhancing collaboration in beauty and fashion industries. They discussed measures to expand cooperation in fashion/design, cultural exchange, and tourism, aiming for synergy between Seoul and Milan, both prominent cities in their respective industries. Additionally, Oh suggested integrating brands from Seoul Fashion Week into Milan and vice versa, to establish sustainable partnership. Collaborations included assistance in creating symbolic monuments for the 'Garden of Gratitude' in Gwanghwamun Square, dedicated to the 22 nations that aided during the Korean War. The agenda also covered plans to foster strategic marketing initiatives to promote Korean beauty and fashion globally, and expanding 'SEOULCON', an event to showcase Asia's fashion and beauty trends, inviting global influencers and creators to Seoul.
