Korean ice cream exports have reached an all-time high from January to June 2023, amounting to $65.5 million, reflecting a 23.1% increase from the same period last year. The rising global interest in K-food has significantly boosted this market. The United States is the largest importer, with $24.9 million in exports, followed by the Philippines and China. Companies like Binggrae are expanding their international product lines, including plant-based options in regions like Europe and Australia. The Korean government anticipates that annual ice cream exports could surpass $100 million for the first time this year.
