Hidden Scenic Beauty of Hallasan's Baegnok Spring Finally Revealed

South Korea's highest spring, located 1,675 meters above sea level on Jeju Island's Hallasan, is made accessible to the public for the first time. This initiative marks the 'Jeju National Heritage Visit Year', allowing participants to explore this unique geological and ecological site through a special program running from July 7 to 24, 2025. Alongside Baegnok Spring, visitors can also see the designated representative tree of the Korean endemic species, the fir tree, renowned for its role as a biodiversity indicator amidst climate challenges. Interest and demand for the program were so high that system errors occurred when registration opened.
