A new cherry blossom-themed fountain, measuring 60 meters in length, is set to be installed in the Boeun River (Bocheongcheon) area in Boeun County, South Korea, by 2026. The project, costing 3.5 billion KRW (approximately 2.9 million USD), aims to create a landmark with water jets reaching up to 50 meters high and incorporating water screens. The fountain is expected to become a new attraction, coinciding with local events like the Boeun Jujube Festival, providing a cultural experience for both locals and tourists. The local government has completed feasibility studies and is currently in the design phase, with completion targeted for early 2026.
