Chuncheon, a city in Gangwon-do, is a paradise for water activities in South Korea's summer. In the picturesque Lake Uiam, activities like canoeing and water skiing are popular. The lake is also bordered by scenic spots and restaurants, making it a great location for tourists. A unique feature is the "Mullegil," a path navigated by canoe on Lake Uiam, where various companies offer a range of canoes, from couple canoes to large ones holding up to 12 people.
An exciting new addition to Lake Uiam is the "Brick Island," a leisure facility run by a former national water ski athlete couple, offering water-based fun like wakeboarding and banana boating.
In addition, Legoland offers a special summer festival called "Oh-Summer Adventure," with attractions designed to soak visitors. Highlights include the musical water show "Pirates Adventure" and numerous activities for adults and kids, such as the pirate-themed water shooter ride.
Beyond the water activities, visitors can experience panoramic views from the country's longest cable car and enjoy local culinary delights like tofu from "Seomyeon Sondubu House," which serves traditional Korean dishes.
