A local women artists' group from Gangneung, called 'Minhwa Lovers', is hosting an art exhibition themed 'Gangneung Painted with Minhwa' at the Korea Women's Center in Okgye, Gangneung until the 9th. The exhibition features works by artists Lee Eun-ji, Song Eun-kyung, and Choi Hyun-ah, who reinterpret the region's nature and everyday life through the traditional Korean folk painting style known as Minhwa. Highlighted artworks include Lee Eun-ji's 'Seosu Paradise', which depicts peaches under a grand sky, and Song Eun-kyung's vibrant 'Flowers and Butterflies', symbolizing happiness and longevity.
