Shinsegae Department Store in Seoul is hosting an exhibition titled 'Place Embracing Summer' featuring traditional Korean summer crafts. The event includes works by artisans like bamboo craftsman Han Chang-kyun and paper artist Lee Jong-guk. Highlights include a 'Well Bench' and 'Leaf Fan'. Workshops and lectures on Korean summer culture such as "Gyehoe" (a Joseon-era social gathering) and "Takjok" (a traditional cooling method by the water) will also take place. These activities aim to connect past and present Korean lifestyles.
