On November 9, Korea's postal service, under the Ministry of Science and ICT, will release 544,000 commemorative stamps featuring four internationally endangered species: the King Cobra, Pancake Tortoise, Rhinoceros Iguana, and Saltwater Crocodile. These animals are part of the international agreement CITES, which has restricted trade since 1975. This initiative aims to raise awareness about biodiversity and the need to conserve endangered species, urging participation to prevent illegal wildlife trade. Stamps can be purchased at main post offices or online.
