In May 2025, 45 out of 53 countries have exceeded pre-pandemic tourist numbers to South Korea, with notable increases from countries like Saudi Arabia and Mexico. Singapore, along with Gulf Cooperation Council countries, made exclusive travel agreements with South Korea during the pandemic, boosting their tourism exchange. South Korea continues to see a rise in international visitors, reaffirming its popularity as a travel destination. Notably, the recovery rate for countries like China and Vietnam is nearing full recovery.
