The musical 'The Last Empress', a major Korean creative work celebrating 30 years, kicks off its latest season in Seoul's Sejong Center. The musical depicts the life of Empress Myeongseong, wife of Korea's 26th king, and her role in historical conflicts. Originally debuted in 1995, it was the first Korean musical to perform on Broadway. Enhancements for this season include refined storytelling and an analog-focused stage design. The title role is shared by actresses Kim So-hyun, Shin Young-sook, and Cha Ji-yeon. The musical runs until March 30th.
