Ulsan City to Monitor Tourist Hotspot Prices During Vacation Season

Ulsan City, in collaboration with district offices, will inspect prices at major tourist spots like beaches and valleys in July and August. They will check accommodation, food, and leisure item prices, alongside adherence to price display and origin labeling laws. A 'Price Gouging Report Center' will be set up at beach administrative offices to promptly address tourist complaints. To aid foreign tourists, multilingual price labels will be introduced, and price information will be available on the city website. The city aims to curb unfair practices and promote voluntary price stability through public campaigns.
