The piano duo 'Shinbak,' composed of pianists Shin Mi-jung and Park Sang-wook, delivered a captivating performance at the 'Four Seasons of Gangwon - Summer' at the Daegwallyeong Music Festival held at the Chiak Art Center in Wonju. The duo showcased music pieces that depicted summer landscapes, playing on themes for both 'for four hands' and 'for two pianos.' The performance included Maurice Ravel's "Mother Goose Suite" and "Spanish Rhapsody," highlighting vivid contrasts and harmonious soundscapes. The audience was deeply engrossed in the 95-minute performance, responding enthusiastically, especially during the encore of Liszt's 'Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.' The music festival plans to continue its 'Duo' concept performances throughout the year with future concerts planned in other regions.
