Chungjeong Arthouse in Chuncheon, South Korea, recently held its inaugural music concert featuring soprano Lee Kyung-sook and her pianist daughter, Shin Esther. Notably, the concert took place in a newly remodeled venue that was once a traditional Korean duck restaurant. Lee, a graduate of Chuncheon Girls' High School and a Doctor of Music from Texas State University, is acclaimed internationally. The concert featured works including Chopin's Nocturne No. 1 and a playful piece by Copland. The venue aims to become a cultural space for local youth and events.
