New Opera 'Couple Story' to Premiere Next Month

The original opera 'Couple Story', portraying the life of a married couple including themes of love, marriage, childbirth, and raising children, will have its premiere from November 11th to 13th at the Seoul Arts Center's Jayu Small Theater. This opera combines theatrical elements and narrative with a series of songs and features a bass baritone, soprano, and piano. Performers include soprano Lee Sang-eun, bass baritone Han Hye-yeol, and pianist Lim Hyo-sun. The libretto is by literary scholar Bong Joon-soo, with music composed by Ryu Jae-joon and direction by Jang Seo-moon.
