Okcheon County in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, has designated 20 restaurants in the downtown area as a culinary district, known as the "Street of Poetry and Cuisine." This initiative links local gastronomy with the literary heritage of Jeong Jiyong, a celebrated Korean poet whose birthplace and literary museum are located in Gug-eup. The towns are aiming to brand this area as a culinary attraction, providing signage and promoting it through official social media channels.
