Antalya: A New Golf Tourism Hub with An All-Inclusive Model

The port city of Antalya in southern Turkey is evolving into a major golf tourism destination, particularly in the Belek area where 17 championship golf courses are established. Belek aims for 560,000 rounds of golf in 2025, supported by its infrastructure, climate, and all-inclusive resorts that offer accommodations, meals, and green fees. This model has increased convenience and spending, attracting visitors throughout the year. However, Antalya needs to address limited flight availability, particularly from non-European markets, to sustain growth. Efforts are being made to increase flight connections and diversify its tourist demographic beyond the current dominance of UK, Germany, and Russian visitors.
