Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture Emerges as Training Ground for Arts Organization Leaders

The Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture has become a prominent "training ground" for future leaders of arts organizations through its alumni who have moved on to head regional cultural foundations and arts organizations. As of now, ten members from the foundation have gone on to lead various institutions around Korea. This shift marks the influence of the second generation of arts management leaders, as many from the first generation came from institutions like the Seoul Arts Center. The foundation, celebrating its 21st anniversary, is recognized for broad cultural experiences and policies, valued by arts institutions seeking leaders with a diverse background.
