DDP Transforms into 'Design Playground' with Street Performances

Seoul Design Foundation has announced the launch of 'DDPlay Busking,' a citizen-participatory street performance program at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza's (DDP) outdoor area. Starting in July, citizens who love design or cultural arts can take part in various performances without restrictions on genre, experience, or age. The aim is to transform DDP into a 'design playground' integrated into daily life. Performances can include singing, playing instruments, flash mobs, random dance play, theater, and traditional arts. Interested participants can apply through the DDP website and perform after a brief screening process. The initiative seeks to boost the local economy by increasing visitors.
