The Kum Nanse Music Center (GMC) in Busan recently hosted the Junior Chamber Music (JCM) concert, featuring talented young musicians from California. During the event, conductor Kum Nanse engaged with both the performers and the audience, fostering a communicative concert atmosphere. The JCM ensemble, comprised of students from various cultural backgrounds, performed pieces by Schumann, Beethoven, and Mendelssohn. This event marked the resumption of performances in Korea and Japan after cancellations due to COVID-19. The initiative not only highlighted diverse cultural exchanges through music but also introduced a new performance style appreciated by both the audience and participants.
