Experience Retro Culture at Jeju Mokgwana Festival

On June 28th, the Jeju Mokgwana hosted a special event replicating scenes from the Netflix drama "Pokssok Sogasuda," featuring the 1967 Hanra Spring Festival literary contest. Participants, including children, experienced writing and drawing competitions while wearing vintage school uniforms provided by the event staff. The festival is part of the "2025 Jeju National Heritage Visit Year" initiative, encouraging participants to explore themes of Jeju heritage like dreams, nature, and the local spirit, and express them creatively. Winners receive cash prizes, with ceremonies held at specialized theme parties alongside live performances. Moreover, Jeju will host various interactive programs until November 2025, showcasing its rich cultural heritage.
