Gwangjuam Resort, just 40 minutes from Seoul, is hosting a variety of traditional Korean games and fireworks during the Korean New Year celebration from January 25 to January 29, 2025. Families can participate in traditional activities like 'ddeokmechigi' (rice cake pounding), 'ddakji-chigi' (a traditional game of flipping cards), 'biseok-chigi' (a game involving striking vertical stones), and 'jeigi-chagi' (a game kicking a shuttlecock) among others. An exclusive firework show will take place on January 28 to mark the New Year with colorful displays. The resort has extended its skiing hours and is offering special gifts to enhance the festive mood.
