Renault Korea Unveils Electric SUV 'Scenic' with 460km Range

Renault Korea has introduced its first electric SUV named 'Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric' targeting the domestic electric vehicle market. The Scenic features a spacious design and improved driving stability due to its purpose-built electric vehicle platform developed by Renault's subsidiary, Ampere. With an 87kWh high-performance battery from LG Energy Solution, it offers a maximum range of 460km and rapid charging capabilities. The vehicle includes advanced safety technologies, such as ‘Fireman Access’ for fire prevention and automatic battery shut-off for additional protection during accidents. Priced starting around 46.5 million won, Renault Korea plans to sell limited edition units, initially releasing 999 units.
