Ocheon County to Enhance Tourist Information Services Amidst Rising Visitor Numbers

Ocheon County in Chungcheongbuk-do Province, South Korea, has announced that it will enhance its tourist information services to accommodate over 1 million annual visitors. The tourist information center, located at the Ocheon Traditional Culture Experience Center, will see the addition of a dedicated staff member and extended hours from 9 AM to 9 PM to better serve tourists. This comes as the area, known for attractions like Busodamak, Jangryeongsan Recreation Forest, and the birthplace of Yuk Young-soo, continues to attract significant numbers of tourists each year.
